Winnipeg’s Kyle Connor has four goals and ten points in his last nine games against Edmonton

Tuesday night has a surprisingly great slate of games for hockey fans with the Bruins taking on the Panthers in Sunrise while the Red Wings look to stay in the Playoff race as they battle the red hot Capitals and the Oilers battle the Jets in an all-Canadian showdown between two Cup Contenders.

It’ll be a great night to be a hockey fan with the best matchup being the Golden Knights looking to keep their momentum going against the league’s hottest team in the Nashville Predators

It’ll be an eventful night and with so many games to bet on, you’ll want the most chances to make some big time profits. Yesterday we split our picks and went 2-2 as we bring our recent record over the past few weeks to 19-9 as we look to keep the hot streak alive.

Bet: Bruins Panthers Over 6.5 goals (+120)

The battle for the Atlantic division lead has the Bruins and Panthers neck and neck with tonight’s matchup being crucial for the fight. The Panthers a subtle advantage of home ice, where they are 21-11-2 with the seventh-fewest goals allowed at 92 this season.

They are much better on the road with the best record in the league at 25-9-3 with the Bruins closely behind and inside the top five teams in road point percentage this season with a 18-7-9 record that has seen them regularly battle their way back into games and force extra time.

It'll be a tight game with both teams not wanting to give an edge and makes the over feel like the best play as these two have been elite defensively this season with their first two matchups this season going under six goals that differentiated from their previous six games that all went over.

These two have intense, physical styles of play that they will look to reignite with the playoffs around the corner. Bruins average 3.15 goals on the road and the Panthers average 3.12 that is below league average but with Boston down their throat and pushing the pace of the game, I expect their offense to show up big and battle to far beyond six goals.

Bet: Jets ML (+105), Kyle Connor Over 0.5 points (-190)

The Oilers have found ways to win as of late with a 11-6-3 record over their last 20 games that has seen their defensive game start to dip as they rep a 3.10 goals against average during that span which ranks a modest 14th in the league.

Their winning streak saw their offense blow teams out while their defense shut opponents down which isn’t the case anymore as all six of their recent regulation loss saw them loss by two or more goals.

Winnipeg has been shutting teams down all season as their specialty has been their backend with the occasional offensive explosion. The Jets don’t blow teams away thanks to star talent but beat you with depth as they have eight players over their last 13 games with seven or more points.

The main goal scorer for the team has been Kyle Connor who is tied with Tyler Toffoli for the team-lead in goals this season. He also has a great record in this matchup with four goals and ten points over his last nine games against Edmonton. He should get on the board and help the Jets get a hard-fought win at home.

    Bet: Predators -1.5 (+165)

We were wrong yesterday as the Golden Knights escaped Missouri with a win, but now we have to continue their road travels and take on a red hot team in their second leg of a back-to-back.

It’ll be a tall order for them to claim a second straight victory under these circumstances and will get the added disadvantage of having to play Jiri Patrea between the pipes. The 25-year-old netminder is 1-3-0 this season with 16 goals allowed in four starts.

The cards have been stacked against them and with their namesake plus a recent three-game winning streak, we get great odds on Predators. Not only are they the hottest team in the league with a 15-0-2 record over their last 17 games but will get red hot netminder Juuse Saros between the pipes who has a goals against average of 1.79 and a save percentage of .934 in his last ten starts.

Vegas will want to prove they are still elite but it feels like too many hurdles to jump as they should lose decisively with Saros playing a terrific game and shutting the door.
