The Leafs had a very poor showing on Tuesday as they were manhandled for 60 minutes by the Senators for a 3-0 shutout loss. It was a wakeup call for this team and they will surely come out swinging against the Capitals.
Toronto has rarely lost both games of a back-to-back when at least one of the games was at home which means history is on their side. Not to mention, the Leafs have also won eight of their last nine games against the Capitals.
Toronto forward Max Domi should make an impact as he's moved to the teams top line with Auston Matthews being sidelined and hasn't benefited from it just yet as he's recorded no points in 11 games.

The Hurricanes are white hot as of late with a 11-3-0 record to start the season. They are coming off an emphatic win over the Golden Knights 5-2 on the road Monday. It's very challenging to win both games of a road back-to-back and they will enter a difficult building to play in when landing in Salt Lake City.
The Utah Hockey Club have struggled as of late with just three wins over their last 12 games but will look to catch the Hurricanes off guard in a bad spot. The Hockey Club has struggled lately because of their offence has dried up with a 2.08 goals per game average over their losing skid. They should bounce back in a big way as they are due for a win.
