Anaheim has just 23 goals in the month of March, being outscored by individual players like Edmonton’s Connor McDavid
Sunday’s slate appears to be the same as Friday’s with just one game on Easter for hockey fans. It’ll be an exciting matchup however as the Canucks locked up a playoff spot last night and will look to keep their momentum going as they take on the Ducks.
Anaheim has had a season to forget and are coming off a decisive 6-1 loss against the Oilers on Saturday night that became their fourth straight loss.
They will continue their Canadian road trip with hopes of breaking their losing streak in this matchup with six straight losses to Vancouver dating back to February of 2022.
Normally we look at a few best bets on the day but today we look to continue our new Pad Stacking challenge where we look to stack the wins just like a goalie stacks his pads to make a big save.
For our sake, we will look to stack our winnings with one pick everyday you can feel confident in hitting and will help build our banks as we hope to make our readers more money.
If you bet with us on Day two, you would’ve found it was a success with Buffalo’s Tage Thompson scoring as we predicted. A $10 on Thompson to score would’ve earned you $26 which we look to build upon today.

Bet: Under 6.5 goals (-140)
The Ducks are sizeable underdogs in this one and for good reason as they are 2-10 on the puck line over their last 12 games and have won just six of their last 24 games dating back to the All-Star break. They have nothing going for them and give us no reason to believe they have a shot to win this game which gives Vancouver their heavy favourite odds.
In a game like this Vancouver may score a lot of goals even if the Ducks somehow find a way to win as all losing streaks do eventually end. Anaheim has allowed the third-most goals in March with 58 over their last 15 games.
Their offence has also evaporated with the lowest goal total during that span as well with just 23 which has been outscored by Connor McDavid’s assist numbers at 24 in March alone.
The Canucks will look to shut the Ducks down again with two days rest and looking to rally behind goalie prospect Arturs Silovs, who will start with Thatcher Demko out with a knee injury and the team wanting to give Casey DeSmith a well-deserved break after appearing in eight straight games.
Silovs is a Latvian netminder, who was the Canucks sixth-round pick in 2019 and has a goals against average of 2.74 and a save percentage of .907 in 33 games for AHL Abbotsford this season.
It happens regularly that a team loses their top netminder and rallies around the backup for a least a short period of time. If we put our $26 winnings towards this under, the payout is just over $44 on only our third day.
