The Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames rank third and fourth-worst in goals against average since mid-February.

Friday closes out the week with five exciting matchups that could have big playoff implications and should create another opportunity for us to add another nail-biting win to the Pad Stacking Challenge.

If you aren’t familiar, our new betting challenge uses the concept of building our bank and rolling over our profits. We do this by stacking our winnings through well-researched picks given out daily that will hopefully build our bank.

We started the climb once again this week and built our $10 all the way up to $57 by Friday before Tampa Bay’s Brandon Hagel couldn’t find the scoresheet and ended our hot streak once again. We were 7-3 over our last ten picks going into yesterday so there is momentum there we can build off and we have found something we feel good about in tonight’s exciting matchup between the

Bet: Flames Ducks Over 6.0 goals (-115)

It’s never a confident pick to take someone on the Flames but we can feel good about the Ducks giving up a lot of scoring chances. The Flames were on the road Thursday night for the second leg of their California road trip where they were pummelled 4-1 by the Kings.

They have a bounce back opportunity versus the Ducks, who have been one of the worst teams in the league as of late with a 6-15-3 record and goals against average of 3.75 over their last 24 games. Calgary hasn’t been able to stop pucks from getting past their goalies as well with a 3.68 goals against average during the same span and sitting one spot behind the Ducks.

Both teams can not play defense and should make for a high-scoring affair with the Flames looking to respond after a bad loss and the Ducks looking to continue their rise in scoring as they average three goals per game over their last five home games which is an improvement over their 2.47 average on the season.

The Flames will also have two red hot forwards in Nazem Kadri and Yegor Sharangovich, who will both look to improve on their recent hot streaks. Sharangovich has become an elite goal scorer with the team-lead in goals with nine and points with 18 since the start of March while Kadri has been dishing the puck with a team-lead 12 assists and 17 points.

A $10 bet on both teams to combine for over six goals totals a return of $18 that we can look to expand with plenty of game options on Saturday.
