Monday features a late night showing with Game three between the Stars travelling to Alberta to take on the Oilers. The series is tied after two games with the Stars looking to steal one on the road just like the Oilers did in Game one.
We reignited the Pad Stacking challenge during Game two and will look to continue it again tonight.
We’ve been hit or miss lately and look to find some consistency as we are 7-6 over our last 13 picks. We have a 4-3 record in this series with our picks going 3-1 in Game two.
All betting lines are from BetMGM and are subject to change. Hockey is a difficult sport to predict so please gamble responsibly.
Bet: Wyatt Johnston anytime goal (+210)
Johnston helped the Stars keep their season alive after going down 2-0 in the first round to the Golden Knights. He went on to score three goals in Games three and four to even up the series and hasn’t looked back with seven goals in 15 playoff games.
He has started to slow down as he’s gone four games now without a goal and should turn things around as Stuart Skinner has been lacklustre at home this postseason. His goals against average rises to 3.61 and his save percentage drops to .851 save percentage through five starts at Rogers Place.

Johnston has a decent history versus the Oilers with three goals and two assists in six career matchups heading into this playoff series. He found the scoresheet in Game two for a pair of assists but will look to make his presence felt by finding the back of the net.
If we look to roll the $19 we earned on Jake Oettinger’s 28-save performance in Game two with Johnston to score at anytime, we will earn $31 that we can roll with a pick in tomorrow’s game.
