Friday’s games end with probably the most exciting as the Minnesota Wild look to stop the red hot Edmonton Oilers who are searching for their sixth straight win. The Wild could be the team to cool them off with a7-3-0 record at Rogers Place since McDavid was drafted and has won four of the last six match-ups.

The Oilers have seemed to have figured out their power play and haven’t looked back with a 43.8 power play percentage on their winning streak, making teams terrified of getting sent to thesin bin.

Bet: Wild +2.5 puckline (-285 DraftKings)

The Oilers have had a hard time beating the Wild at home for some time now with only 13 wins in 40 games at Rogers Place over the past two decades. If the Oilers do win, I think the Wild keep it close as they are tied for ninth with the Bruins and Coyotes with fewest goals allowed per game (3.00) since the start of November. It’s not great odds but could be a great leg in a parlay.

Bet: Connor McDavid Under 1.5 points (-135 DraftKings)

It may seem insane to fade McDavid after he has 16 points in the Oilers five game winning streak but he just hasn’t been the normal McDavid this season. He has only gotten multiple points in ten of 23 games this season and has against the Wild just six times in 20 games over his career. It may seem crazy but the numbers speak for themselves.Bet: Ryan Hartman Over 0.5 points (+160 DraftKings)

In his last three games against the Oilers, Hartman has five goals and eight points with one five point game earlier this season. In his last eight games, he hasn’t managed to find his way on to the score sheet which is surprising for Hartman as the last time he went more than eight games without registering a point was 2019 when he only scored 20 points on the season. If he doesn’t bounce back and get a point in this one, it has to be something you are looking out for in their game Sunday against the Kraken.
