The public has placed 94 per cent of their bets on the Devils to win by multiple goals despite the Sharks recording win or a loss within one score in 13 of their last 14 matchups.

The San Jose Sharks have been a hard team to watch this season with almost no saving grace for fans except for the puck line. If you are a fan of an underdog, we have a solid bet for you on Sunday as the Sharks will be the newest pick for the Pad Stack Challenge.

If you aren’t familiar, the Pad Stack Challenge is an open betting strategy that uses the concept of building our bank and rolling over our profits. We do this by stacking our winnings through well-researched picks given out daily that will hopefully build our bank.

We were horribly wrong with our pick in the Oilers Canucks game last night but we look to rebound in a spot we are familiar with as we've secured a 4-2 record this season and a 32-14 record last season on puck line underdogs.

All betting lines are from Bet365 and are subject to change. Hockey is a difficult sport to predict so please gamble responsibly.

    Bet: Sharks +1.5 (+115)

This is by far the most controversial pick you can take on the Sunday slate. San Jose has experienced another rough start to their season and have a 23-63-11 record since the start of last season.

Despite their poor start to the season, they are keeping games close with a 8-7 record against the spread this season. Everyone is betting on the Devils in this spot with 96 per cent of the money line bets and 94 per cent of the puck line bets being placed on them.

People may not realize the Sharks have a 6-4-2 record over their last 12 games against the Devils. San Jose has also have recorded a win or a loss within one score in 13 of their last 14 matchups. New Jersey will be entering Sunday with no days rest after beating the Islanders in overtime 4-3 on Saturday. The Sharks should exploit the fatigued Devils and keep this game close.

If we look to reignite the Pad Stack with the Sharks, a $10 bet would turn into just over $21.
