The Dallas Stars have the third-best home goals against average at 2.25 while the Ottawa Senators have a 2.31 goals against average over their recent 16-game hot streak

Thursday offers a solid slate of NHL action with some highlighted matchups that should excite all fans of the sport. The most intriguing appears to be a clash between two red hot teams in the Stars and Senators, who face off in the Lone Star State.

It should be a great night of games and we look to improve on some of our impressive records like our wins with the Winter Classic over in goals on Tuesday and the Kings Devils under on Wednesday.

Bet: Senators Stars Under 6.0 goals (-110)

This game screams Dallas with Jake Oettinger starting, who has some elite home numbers with a 12-4-1 record and a 2.15 goals against average, plus the Stars are 14-5-1 at American Airlines Center this season.

Ottawa has started to piece together a stellar run of games with a 11-4-1 record and a 2.31 goals against average over their last 16 games. Dallas also has an elite backend with a 2.25 home goals against average, which ranks top three in the league, and should culminate in a low-scoring affair between two hot defensive units.

The Senators have won ten of their last 14 matchups against the Stars but Dallas has regularly won this matchup at home with victories in four of their last five battles in the Lone Star State. The Senators have won five out of their last seven road games and makes this feel like a spot where they should drop one but in a tight game.

Both teams have below .500 records on the puck line which makes this one tricky but you do get a decent value with a Senators team that is hot plus the Stars have covered in just two of their last seven home games.
