The top seed Winnipeg Jets look to take down a divisional opponent in the Nashville Predators, who may be starting to heat up with a 3-1-1 record over their last five games.

The last time these two met earlier this season, the Preds had lost four of their last five games but were still the favourites to take down the red hot Jets at home and they succeeded with a 4-1 victory. This would appear to be a rebound spot for the Jets as they are rolling lately and will be in the best environment for them to succeed at home.
Nashville is a truly horrible road team with their offence completely evaporating as they average 1.94 goals per road game. They are also bottom ten in goals against average at 3.39 which should present a tough challenge to overcome as they try to pierce through the Jets and their home defence with a 2.24 average.
