One bet has been very profitable in Carolina playoff games. We go back to the well and trust the data in today's best bet.

Carolina vs. Florida 1st Period Under 1.5 Goals

The 1st Period Under is 11-3 in Carolina's playoff games this season and given Bobrovksy's incredible performance, don't expect that to change. Carolina likes to control play at both ends of the ice. Defensively, they keep shots to the outside and allow their goalies to track pucks, while winning races to rebounds and limiting net front opportunities. This allows their goalies to settle into the game and get a feel for the puck early on.

Offensively, Carolina employs the shoot from everywhere mantra. Burns has been peppering the net with shots this spring and Skjei has joined him. They look to create rebounds and chaos at the net front, but have struggled against the lights out play of Bobrovsky. The Panthers are perfectly fine letting the Canes take shots from the outside and boxing out at the net front, making it tough to score at both ends of the ice.

With Carolina's defensive play and Bobrovsky's stellar play in goal, this series has seen lots of low scoring games and the trend is likely to continue tonight. Take the 1P Under 1.5 goals as it has been the most consistently profitable playoff bet this spring.
