Leafs Winger William Nylander looks primed to score against the Blues in what should be a high-scoring game
The Blues are flying under the radar as one of the hottest teams in the league with wins in seven of their last eight games while beating good teams like the red hot Flames and Canucks. Their offense has risen to one of the best in the league during their hot streak as they are only behind Dallas in goals per game with a 3.63 average. They will need to bring their offense into Toronto as they play a Leafs offense that is one of the best at home.
The Buds rank seventh-best in home offense with 3.54 goals per game average that has them routinely in high-scoring games in their own building. They took a rough loss to the Sens but have been good as of late with wins in four of their last six games with wins over the Stars, Kraken and Jets twice. They will be going against history however, as the Blues have won nine of their last 12 matchups with the Leafs having not won at home since 2016. It was so long ago that the two point leaders for the Leafs in the win were Leo Komarov and Michael Grabner.
It should make for an exciting matchup on Tuesday night with both teams looking to stay in the fight for the playoffs. If you plan to watch this one and want some added action on the game, here is our best bet for tonight’s matchup that should earn you some extra cash.

Pick: William Nylander anytime goal (+120)
The Leafs big three have all seen bursts of success versus the Blues but the one with the most consistency has been Nylander, who has six points in his last three games in this matchup. Three of his six points were goals, which Nylander has been hit or miss with this season after going on long goal droughts time and time again.
Before scoring two goals in the Leafs 5-4 win last Wednesday, the Swedish winger hadn’t scored in four games and before that he hadn’t scored in another six games. This game should be high-scoring and playing alongside Tyler Bertuzzi should help as he’s been dishing the puck lately with seven assists in his last 15 games that is fourth-best on the Leafs during that span. He is hit or miss but tonight the signs point to hitting.
