Florida’s Sergei Bobrovsky reps a 2.71 goals against average and a .893 save percentage so far this postseason.

The Conn Smythe trophy winner is very difficult to predict as you have to pick the best player on a Stanley Cup winning team, who is also regraded as the biggest reason why that team has won.

For our case we look to dive into a handful of different players that should have a shot to take home the prestigious trophy if their team takes home lord Stanley.

All betting lines are from a variety of sportsbooks and are subject to change. Hockey is a difficult sport to predict so please gamble responsibly.

Bet: Sergei Bobrovsky to win Conn Smythe trophy (+2000)

The Panthers tied things up with the Bruins as they head to Boston with championship hopes very much alive. Florida is currently tied with the Avalanche for the third-highest odds to lift Lord Stanley at +450 and will continue to be in the mix thanks to their red hot netminder Sergei Bobrovsky.

A netminder has won the Conn Smythe trophy just once over the past decade when Andrei Vasilevskiy took home the prestigious award in 2021 and was the teams biggest factor for their Stanley Cup win due to his .922 save percentage and a 2.52 goals against average during the playoffs.

Bobrovsky has limited opponents to two or fewer goals in four of their six playoff games played so far and makes him the second-highest Panther listed to be named playoff MVP. He has a 2.71 goals against average and a .893 save percentage so far this postseason.

The Russian netminder's biggest challenge will be getting through Bruins, who Bobrovsky has a bad record against with Game two being his first win against them since Game seven of the first round last season. He had lost five straight in this matchup and has a 3.34 goals against average in their last ten matchups.

If he can overcome the challenge, he'll see a more favourable matchup versus Carolina or New York, who he has great records against and will set him up for a Stanley Cup final where he'll enter as the clear favourite for the Panthers Conn Smythe winner. If you believe in the Cats, you get a great value with Bobrovsky.
