    The Flames have been open about their desire to upgrade, but the need for a center became evident during a recent game against Seattle, where a disadvantage in the faceoff circle contributed to a tying goal.

    Friedman points out that since the departure of Elias Lindholm, the Flames are feeling the impact of not having a reliable right-handed faceoff specialist. But, as Nashville Predators' GM Barry Trotz explains, "no one is giving their centremen away."
