Dave Cameron's Team Canada Squad Loses In The World Junior Quarter Finals

Ryan Kennedy discusses Canada's loss on the NEWS site.

There is no shame in losing to the Czechs, of course. That national side deserves all the credit for having a solid game plan and executing it (get sticks in lanes, find holes in Canada's defensive structure and keep the puck low in the offensive zone as much as possible). But the 2025 edition of Canada's world junior team was not the best it could have been.

Tony Ferrari talks about the Quarter Final games at the World Juniors on the NEWS site.

We have the same four teams as last year in the semifinals, as Sweden, USA, Finland and Czechia are headed to the medal rounds. They will compete for international hockey supremacy at the U-20 level in Ottawa.

Tony Ferrari discusses Finland's hopes for a medal at the World Juniors on the NEWS site.

Emil Hemming was on that team a year ago, but he wasn’t in the lineup for the bronze-medal game. He had to sit and watch – and he’s determined not to be in that situation again and to help redeem the Finns this time around.
