Every calendar year is filled with many Upper Deck Hockey releases. There are a few releases that keep collectors up at night waiting for release day.

Upper Deck 2024-25 Series Two Hockey will become one of the biggest release days of the 2024-25 hockey card calendar year. 

Overview

Upper Deck 2024-25 Series Two Hockey releases Wednesday, Mar. 5 and will retail for $140 USD per box.

Collectors can expect six Young Guns, One Outburst Parallel, four Canvas cards, three Young Guns renewed, and 17 other inserts.   

Welcome, Macklin Celebrini

Macklin Celebrini has had a handful of hockey cards in the market in 2024-25 products, such as Black Diamond Hockey, Allure Hockey, and O-Pee-Chee Hockey. Celebrini's Young Guns will be featured in Upper Deck 2024-25 Series Two Hockey.

Beyond Celebrini's Young Guns, collectors will be chasing his Fluorescence, Incarnations, Population Count, UD Portraits, and Welcome Aboard inserts. 

Who Else are We Chasing?

Matvei Michkov will command attention from collectors. Calum Ritchie, Rutger McGroarty, Aku Raty, Drew Commesso, and Jackson Blake are nice pulls, too.

Under the Radar

One of the best things about a Flagship release is collecting the under the radar Young Guns. Could Young Guns such as Patrik Kock, Logan Morrison, Oskar Back, Andre Lee, Ivan Ivan, and Nolan Allan reward collectors down the line?

No Shortage of Hype

There is no shortage of hype for the release of Upper Deck 2024-25 Series Two Hockey. Pre-sales are going strong over various breaking platforms. Collectors will be flocking to their local card shops on release day to chase the newest crop of Young Guns.

Part of the hype is thanks to the removal of the Connor Bedard Tax. Upper Deck 2023-24 Series Two Hockey, which featured Bedard's Young Guns, retailed for close to $400 on release day. Dave and Adam's was largely responsible for the inflated pricing thanks to a $1 million bounty that was ultimately canceled. 

In any event, collectors are excited to get back to a more reasonable price per box level with Upper Deck 2024-25 Series Two Hockey.
