Three Savannah skaters each scored a pair of goals in their club's win over the Thunder.

Dennis Cesana, Ross Armour and Riley Hughes each scored a pair of goals to lift the Savannah Ghost Pirates to a 6-3 win over the Adirondack Thunder Thursday at Enmarket Arena.
Evan Cormier stopped 17 shots while Savannah was perfect on special teams, going 2-for-2 on the power-play and 3-for-3 on the penalty-kill.
Just 2:29 into the first period, Armour got the Ghost Pirates on the board first with his team-leading third power-play goal of the season, with Reece Vitelli picking up the assist.
The Thunder responded to tie the score 1-1 when Josh Filmon put one off the crossbar past Cormier's shoulder for his first as a member of the Thunder at the 5:58 mark.
Hughes got the lead back for the Ghost Pirates at 15:36 for his ninth of the season. Vitelli notched another helper, his second of the game.
The second period was only 32 seconds old when Andre Ghantous tied the game 2-2 on a bank shot off Cormier’s back from behind the net, after the Ghost Pirates goalie had stopped the initial shot.
Cesana put Savannah back in the lead to stay with a wrister past Adirondack netminder Jeremy Brodeur at 16:10 of the middle frame.
Cesana potted his second goal of the night at 2:42 of the final frame, slipping a shot from the right circle underneath Brodeur’s left arm for a 4-2 Ghost Pirates lead. Armour then notched his second of the game on the power-play following a beautiful setup by Logan Drevitch and Cesana. Drevitch’s assist gave him 99 points for his career, making him the club’s all-time leader in that department.
TJ Friedmann attempted to bring the Thunder back at 17:29 to narrow the gap to 5-3, but an empty-netter by Hughes clinched the 6-3 win.
Cormier picked up his fifth victory of the season in net, while Savannah outshot the Thunder 46-20.
