The Walleye have locked down the Central Division and are one of just four teams currently qualified for the Kelly Cup Playoffs.

It was a huge night across the ECHL on Wednesday, as the Toledo Walleye cemented their status as head of the division.

The Toledo Walleye defeated the Indy Fuel 3-2 on Wednesday night at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum, clinching the 2023-24 Central Division crown.

The Walleye, sitting with a 41-14-4-5 record, good for second in the ECHL, are one of just four current teams (Kansas City, Idaho, Adirondack) to clinch a playoff slot.

In 2022-23, the Walleye swept the Fuel and Cyclones in the first two rounds of the Kelly Cup Playoffs before dropping a five-game series to the Steelheads.
