The Florida Everblades made a couple of significant signings and released its promotional night schedule this week.

The club has agreed to terms with forwards Jesse Lansdell and Isaac Nurse on standard player contracts for the 2025-26 season.

The 26-year-old Lansdell re-joins the Everblades for his third season in Estero. Last year, the Surrey, British Columbia native tallied 15 goals and 24 assists in 60 games, followed up by seven points (one goal, six assists) in the playoffs.

The year prior, the power forward had four assists in the postseason to help Florida win the 2024 Kelly Cup.

Before turning pro, Lansdell split his time between Notre Dame and the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

The left-shot forward completed his collegiate days with 22 goals and 45 assists for 67 points in 176 games.

The Everblades will be getting Nurse back next season as well. Nurse, also 26, completed his first full season with the Everblades last year, notching 11 goals and 12 assists over 47 games.

The Hamilton, Ontario native then scored two goals and three assists in the playoffs.

Before turning pro, Nurse played junior hockey with the Ontario Hockey League’s Hamilton Bulldogs, winning the championship in 2018 and serving as team captain in 2020.

After that, Nurse moved to Canadian University Hockey and helped the University of New Brunswick win back-to-back University Cup Championships in 2023 and 2024. In the 2024 season, the Reds went undefeated with a 43-0 record.

Florida also released its 2025-26 promotional nights. From fan-favorite traditions to exciting new themes, the team is promising fans a unique and memorable experience.

October 18 vs. Orlando Solar Bears - Opening Night (Presented by Lexus)

The club will kick off the season with a bang as they celebrate the start of another exciting year of Everblades hockey. Fans are encouraged to come early to witness a special new addition to the family that is yet to be revealed.

November 8 vs. Fort Wayne Komets - Military Night (Presented by National Coalition for Patriots)

Brave servicemen and women will be honored on this night featuring special tributes, in-game recognition and exclusive ticket deals for military personnel and their families.

November 21 vs. South Carolina Stingrays – Blades Fights Cancer Night (Presented by Florida Cancer Specialists)

"Blades Fights Cancer" night is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for cancer research.

December 12 vs. Orlando Solar Bears - Teddy Bear Toss (Presented by Fifth Third)

Fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear to toss onto the ice after the Everblades' first goal. All bears will be donated to Golisano’s Children’s Hospital and other local hospitals during the holiday season.

December 29 vs. Reading Royals - New Year's Celebration

Ring in the New Year a little early with the Everblades for the last game of 2025!

Jan 31 vs. Atlanta Gladiators - Hispanic Heritage Night

Celebrate the vibrant cultures and contributions of the Hispanic community as the Blades transform to Las Tortugas with a night of music, dance, and heritage!
