The Florida Everblades trade forwards Bobo Carpenter and Zach Tsekos to the Cincinnati Cyclones to complete future trade agreements

The Florida Everblades have traded forwards Robert "Bobo" Carpenter and Zach Tsekos to the Cincinnati Cyclones to complete future trade considerations stemming from Florida's trade deadline deal that saw the franchise acquire defenseman Zach Berzolla and forward Zach Andrusiak from the Cincinnati Cyclones in exchange for forwards Kieran Craig, Luke Santerno, and Jimmy Soper.

Carpenter, 27, was with the Everblades for part of the last three seasons, but he had a breakout postseason that helped Florida secure its unprecedented third straight Kelly Cup championship. The North Reading, Massachusetts, native amassed 12 goals and 11 assists, making his 23 postseason tied for the most with teammate Oliver Chau among all ECHL skaters. Carpenter played hero in the South Division Finals to send the Everblades to the Eastern Conference Finals for the third consecutive year.

Tsekos, 27, signed with the Everblades in August last year after spending part of the previous two seasons with the Utah Grizzlies. With Florida, the forward collected 11 points on five goals and six assists in 27 regular season games.
