Evan Fitzpatrick made 46 saves to lift the Orlando Solar Bears into the South Division Finals with a 5-1 win over the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on Tuesday night.

The Solar Bears await the winner of the Jacksonville Icemen and the defending Kelly Cup champion Florida Everblades, who will play in a winner-take-all Game 7 on Wednesday.

After a scoreless first, Jaydon Dureau scored twice in the second period, with the goals coming just 5:26 apart.

With the Solar Bears on the man advantage, Tyler Bird found Dureau on the backdoor at the 14:04 mark of the frame. With 30 seconds left in the period, Ben Carroll sent a backhanded pass to a trailing Dureau, who rifled the puck into the back of the net.

Spencer Kersten extended Orlando's lead to 3-0 early in the third period after he came flying in along the left wing before crashing the net and wristing a shot past Greenville netminder Jacob Ingham.

The Swamp Rabbits got one back on Colton Young's third goal of the postseason, but that would be the only blemish on Fitzpatrick's night. The Orlando netminder stopped 46 of 47 overall.

With the net empty, Aaron Luchuk and Tyler Bird both tallied their second goals of the playoffs to secure the Solar Bears' bid to the next round.
