Dynamic forward Remy Parker joins the Nailers looking to translate collegiate scoring prowess into ECHL consistency while bolstering Wheeling’s depth and special teams through a high-upside fresh start.
Wheeling has had a tumultuous offseason but are continuing to curate their roster for the upcoming season. The Nailers are bringing skill to lineup with the addition of forward Remy Parker.
This move for Parker is an opportunity to establish himself this season joining the Nailers organization. The Nailers are known for developing young talent and competing, something that Parker is no stranger to.
Parker played two seasons with the Jersey Hitmen in the NCDC. He then committed to the University of Maine. Seeking a larger role, he transferred to Utica University and this is where his game started to take off. During his first season in the 2021-22 season, he recorded 10 points in 17 games. He followed that with the 2022-23 campaign, where he posted 23 goals and 35 points in 29 games. During his final college season, Parker made the jump to Long Island University. He finished 36 games with 13 goals and 5 assists.
This presents Parker with a fresh start and he is looking to make an immediate impact. In the 2025-26 season, Parker started with the Cincinnati Cyclones and was then signed to Greenville Swamp Rabbits. With the two teams, he played 35 games.
Through his first two full professional seasons, Parker has appeared in 119 ECHL games. He has tallied 17 goals and 10 assists for 27 points. While his offensive production has fluctuated during those games, he is versatile forward who is capable of playing on the penalty kill, being a physical player, and adding depth to a lineup.
During the course of Parker’s ECHL game, he has shown skill and creativity. Winning board battles, being responsible, and producing consistently will be key to earn the trust of new Head Coach Nate DiCasmirro.
Adding a player with Parker’s upside is another step for building a roster that is capable of making a playoff ton. For Parker, it’s a chance to carve out a role and take that next step in his career.
