After spending last season at the University of Manitoba and the EIHL, Chase Hartje joins Utah for the 2024-25 season.
As the 2024-25 season approaches, the Utah Grizzlies continue to add to their roster, signing defenseman Chase Hartje for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
The Bemidji, Minnesota native finished the 2023-24 season in the EIHL with the Coventry Blaze. He also appeared in two EIHL playoff games.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound blueliner spent his collegiate hockey career at the University of Manitoba from 2021-24, where he scored 46 points (9 goals, 37 assists) in 70 games.
In junior hockey, Hartje played for Moose Jaw, Brandon, Kootenay and Winnipeg in the Western Hockey League from 2017-2020. In 178 career games in the WHL he scored 73 points (13-60-73).
As of August 29, the Grizzlies have nine forwards and three defensemen signed for 2024-25. Keep checking back with The Hockey News as the roster continues to take shape.
