    Max Neill played in 17 games for Utah last season, and the team welcomes him back for 2024-25.

    The Utah Grizzlies announced Friday they have re-signed forward Max Neill for the 2024-25 season.

    The 23-year-old Neill played in 17 games with the Grizzlies in the second half of 2023-24 and recorded two assists. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound forward spent this past season at the University of Waterloo and at Lindenwood University last year.

    At Waterloo, the Portage, la Prairie, MB native potted 10 goals and 9 assists in 25 games. He also played junior hockey with Johnstown and Minnesota of the NAHL.

    Neill's father, Mike Neill, was selected by the New York Islanders in the third round of the 1983 NHL draft and played five professional seasons in the AHL and IHL.
