The Tahoe Knight Monsters continue to add to their roster ahead of their inaugural 2024-25 season. The ECHL's 29th franchise signed a pair of forwards in Chris Dodero and Adams Robbins this week.
Dodero, 28, hails from West Chicago, Illinois and spent the last two years skating with European clubs. Most recently, he logged 28 games for the Rosenheim Star Bulls of DEL2, the second-tier hockey league in Germany last season. There, he recorded 22 points on 10 goals and 12 assists.
Prior to heading overseas, Dodero played collegiate hockey at American International College, serving as an alternate captain in his last two years. As a senior, Dodero tallied career highs in goals (13), assists (16), and points (29).
Robbins joins the Knight Monsters after finishing up his senior season at Princeton, where he tallied 11 goals and 29 points in 30 games during the 2023-24 season. Prior to collegiate hockey, Robbins skated with the USHL's Chicago Steel, accumulating 41 points during the 2018-19 season.
Following the signing of Dodero and Robbins, Tahoe's roster for the 2024-25 season sits at six players, four forwards and two defensemen.
The Tahoe Knight Monsters are set to open their inaugural season at home against the Jacksonville Icemen on Thursday, October 24. Added, the organization will be revealing their NHL/AHL affiliation, mascot, and jerseys on Tuesday, July 16.
