The Silver State Sports & Entertainment Network,in conjunction with Reno’s KOLO News 8 Now and FOX5 Local Las Vegas, will team up to carry 19 select Knight Monsters games this season.

As the Tahoe Knight Monsters prepare to kick off their inaugural season this Thursday, they now have a television partner.

The Silver State Sports & Entertainment Network (SSSEN), in conjunction with Reno’s KOLO News 8 Now and FOX5 Local Las Vegas, have officially partnered with the Knight Monsters for the 2024-25 season.

Select Tahoe Knight Monsters games will be broadcast on SSSEN. Some games will also be simulcast on KOLO and FOX5.

“We are very excited to have the Tahoe Knight Monsters on The Silver State Sports and Entertainment Network and to share this landmark partnership with FOX5 in Las Vegas,” said John Fiorelli, vice president and general manager of KOLO 8 News Now. “The appetite and enthusiasm for hockey is growing in Nevada, and SSSEN is the only sports channel set up to broadcast the Tahoe Knight Monsters across the state.”

The Silver State Sports & Entertainment Network, a Gray Media Inc. property, was created for Nevada fans to stay connected to local sports and is the Official Broadcast Partner of the Tahoe Knight Monsters. SSSEN is also the Official Broadcast Home of the two-time WNBA World Champion Las Vegas Aces. The network is also home to more than 100 University of Nevada Las Vegas athletic events, a partnership that is a first of its kind for UNLV and a Nevada TV station.

"We're bringing hockey to a new audience in Lake Tahoe with the Knight Monsters, and this partnership with the Silver State Sports and Entertainment Network will help us expand our reach even further," said Tahoe Knight Monsters Head Coach Alex Loh. "I'm looking forward to showcasing the ECHL and our brand of hockey across Nevada."

The Knight Monsters play their first game on Thursday against Jacksonville at the Tahoe Blue Event Center.
