The Tahoe Knight Monsters agreed to terms with veteran forward Logan Nelson for the 2024-25 season, the club announced.
The 30-year-old Rogers, Minnesota native spent three productive seasons with the Rapid City Rush, recording 63 goals and 113 assists for 173 points in 179 games from 2021-24. He also served as a Rush alternate team captain during the 2021-22 season.
In 520 career ECHL games, the 6-foot-1, 210-pound center tallied 372 points (139-233-372). During the 2021-22 season, he earned an AHL call-up with the Tucson Roadrunners, appearing in five games. The Buffalo Sabres selected him in the fifth round of the 2012 NHL Entry draft.
Nelson will provide a wealth of experience and veteran leadership for the Knight Monsters, who currently have a total of five forwards and four defensemen on the roster. The team will host its inaugural home opening weekend October 24 and 25 against the Jacksonville Icemen at Tahoe Blue Event Center.
