
Utah Grizzlies forward Brandon Cutler has signed a contract with EC Kassel Huskies of the DEL2, the second tier ice hockey league in Germany, for the 2024-25 season.
Cutler, 24, had an outstanding 2023-24 season, leading the Grizzlies with 36 goals and tallying the second-most points (65) in 72 games. This past year marked Cutler's third season with Utah, during which he played exclusively in the ECHL after previously spending time at the AHL level.
In addition to his time with Utah during the 2022-23 season, Cutler also played 18 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack, Belleville Senators, and Colorado Eagles, scoring one goal. With Utah, he recorded 15 goals and 30 points in 32 games.
In his first professional season, Cutler tallied 27 points, including ten goals and 17 assists in 23 games, and also played 32 games with the AHL's Abbotsford Canucks, scoring two goals and eight points in 2021-22.
Before his professional career, Cutler spent five seasons in the WHL, split between the Red Deer Rebels and Victoria Royals.
