Two shutouts, four overtimes, and a rare 10-goal performance highlight a wild Friday night across the ECHL

As the ECHL chugs towards the holiday season, a wild Friday night saw a mixture of goal-scoring, overtime theatrics, and some head-stand-worthy goaltending to chase.

The Kalamazoo Wings rolled over the Iowa Heartlanders with a rare 10-goal performance.

Ty Glover put up a hat-trick, and four points with a plus-six, with Tanner Sorenson putting up yet another hat-trick and four points. The Wings netted three goals in the first, four in the second, and three in the third for an even dozen in a drubbing of the Heartlanders, who fall to 3-7-1-1 on the road opposite a strong 6-1-1 home record.

Elsewhere, Trois-Rivieres (Zachary Bouthillier, 25 saves) and Florida (Cam Johnson, 34 saves) both earned shutouts, while four contests ended in overtime.

Rapid City raced past Allen 4-3 off the stick of Blake Bennett, Ty Pelton-Byce's OT winner kept Idaho hot with a 5-4 win over the game KC Mavericks, the Wheeling Nailers eeked by Indy 4-3 thanks to a Davis Bunz tally, and Brock Caufield's two-goal night kicked-off a Growlers homestand with an OT win against the Maine Mariners, with a final score of 4-3.
