Anthony Beauregard returns for his third season with Trois-Rivières in 2024-25

The Trois-Rivières Lions have re-signed forward Anthony Beauregard for the 2024-25 season. The 28-year-old returns for his seventh pro season and third with the Lions.
After recording 49 points in 54 games in his first season with Trois-Rivières during the 2022–23 season, Beauregard tallied 15 goals and 17 assists last season. His 32 points were the seventh-most on the Trois-Rivières roster.
Beauregard got off to a fast start in 2023-24, tallying points in nine of his first 11 games. However, he had just four points in 13 games to close out the first half of the season.
Following the All-Star break, Beauregard had points in four of his first seven games to start the second half. However, he continued to go lengthy stretches without finding the scoresheet. He had just five points over his final 21 games.
In the postseason, Beauregard recorded a goal and an assist, with both coming in Game 2 of the North Division Semifinals.
Beauregard will look to get back to form that made him the ECHL's Most Valuable Player during the 2020-21 season when he was with the Wichita Thunder.
