Another day, another NHL 24 tuner. At 6:27pm today, "Clappy" (@TheClapperton on X/Twitter) announced that another tuner will be coming to NHL 24 at 5AM ET on Friday October 27th. This will be the second tuner EA have released, and means we will have had two tuner updates in the same week.

But what is actually coming in this tuner update? Well if you're a goalie in NHL 24, things just got a LOT better.

First off, the Team Play Kick Logic ahs been adjusted, to allow players to remain in the game longer before getting kicked for poor team play. Previously, players would get kicked from a game for doing things considered as poor game play, such as a goalie skating around the ice in the middle of play, a player constantly trying to troll their teammates on the ice, etc. While this is a great feature to stop random teammates from trolling and ruining the game, it was way too fast and often kicked someone when the entire team was just having some fun.

Secondly, they're fixing an issue that prevented a user goalie from attempting a save animation while holding the left stick in a direction with the manual hug post setting enabled. As someone who occasionally plays goalie with friends, I noticed this issue right away and it was a big problem. Now that EA is quickly addressing it, it shouldn't be an issue going forward.
