Who wins in NHL 24?
Continuing with our NHL 24 playoff simulation series, today we dove into the Colorado Avalanche and Winnipeg Jets first round matchup.
For the rosters for this series we inserted Samuel Girard on the Avalanche blueline, assuming he will play despite recovering from an injury. We also scratched Cole Perfetti from the Jets lineup, as there is speculation he will not play when the series begins.
This simulation started off strong for Colorado as they jumped out to a 2-0 series lead, but Winnipeg came roaring back to win four games in a row to take the series.

Winnipeg's trade deadline acquisitions helped put them over the top, with Sean Monahan leading the team in assists and Tyler Toffoli leading the team in goals and points throughout the series.
The biggest setback for Colorado appeared to be goaltending, with Connor Hellebuyck posting a .918 save percentage and drastically outplaying Alexandar Georgiev.
Colorado's big deadline acquisition Casey Mittlestadt put up a team-leading 8 points in the series in what will be his first playoff appearance.
This series should be an absolute battle in real life and we would not be surprised if it goes either way.
