Jaromir Jagr now has one of the best cards in NHL 24 HUT
This past Sunday, the Pittsburgh Penguins organization raised Jaromir Jagr's No. 68 to the rafters after what was an incredible weekend honoring one of the best players in NHL history.
They welcomed Jagr to their Saturday practice, where the 52-year-old showed that he still has a lethal shot and that he's still got some playing life left in him.
Jagr is still playing overseas in Czechia for the team he owns, Rytíři Kladno, over in the first-tier Czechia league.
The festivities for the legendary Czech continued when he took warmups with the Penguins before his jersey retirement ceremony. Many Pittsburgh players dawned mullet wigs in honor of Jagr while the entire team wore No. 68 jerseys.
Yesterday, EA SPORTS gave a salute to Jagr for his jersey retirement by releasing a 93 overall HUT Elites card. His card looks incredibly strong due to his size (6-foot-3 and 254lbs) but with solid speed and acceleration at 94.
Unstoppable Force is its zone ability, but with 99 balance, strength, and his size, you probably don't need to equip it. Shnipe can be very powerful considering his 97 wrist shot power and accuracy, and those stats can hit 99 with Sniper Forward and Shooting Boost synergy activated.
The two other superstar abilities are Puck on a String and Elite Edges, which could be absolutely lethal if you activate Agile Dangler Boost to get his agility up to 96.
Jagr's card is available to open up in a pack until Feb. 27. If you're lucky enough to obtain his card in a pack opening, you'll be able to put up and sell it for a fortune on the auction house as you can bet this will be a very coveted card.
