In terms of X-Factors in NHL 23, Gold Close Quarters was one of if not the best one to run. It provided players with a significant boost to shot power and accuracy when around the net, but EA is now realizing that the boosts provided were maybe a bit too much. For NHL 24, the X-Factor will be a much more balanced one, and hopefully not as overpowered as it was in NHL 23.
