Does the trade work in NHL 24?
With trades already kicking off before the NHL season is officially over, we are back with more NHL 24 trade simulations.
The Los Angeles Kings got out of a long term contract and saved some money while adding an experienced goaltender. Washington is banking on a rebound from Dubois who is immensely talented but has inconsistencies with his effort.

The trade was rejected when Los Angeles proposed the trade to Washington, but accepted when Washington proposed the same deal.
Based on this NHL 24 does not value Dubois very highly, and his trade value bar reflects that.
Washington did have Dubois on it's players wanted list, so even in-game they are intrigued by the potential he brings.
While we will not know who wins the trade until next season gets underway, NHL 24 seems to think the Kings extracted more value.
