Creating Luke Tuch in NHL 24

Luke Tuch has officially signed his entry-level contract with the Montreal Canadiens and is expected to join Laval in the AHL for the remainder of the season.

Selected 47th overall by the Canadiens in the 2020 NHL draft, Tuch just completed his fourth season at Boston University, tallying 10 goals and 30 points in 39 games.

Instead of waiting for the next roster update, we wanted to predict what Tuch will look like in NHL 24.

We decided to give Tuch a 75 overall rating with medium top six potential. Despite never scoring at a point-per-game in college, Tuch's size and defensive game should help him adjust quickly to the pro game.

Brother of Buffalo Sabres forward Alex Tuch, Luke shares his brother's big-body playstyle but lacks some of the skill. Our predcition emphasizes his strength and ability to protect the puck.

While it is tough to project what he will become in the pro game, we feel the potential is there to be a middle-six player.
