Changes to the HUB, stat tracking, contracts, and conversations among new features
EA Sports has unveiled their NHL 25 Franchise Mode Deep Dive, a nearly 18 minute video of what is new in the fan favorite mode.
Changes are coming to the HUB, stat tracking, contracts, and ability to have conversations with players, in what is the biggest overhaul to Franchise Mode in years.
The most obvious change on first look is the transformation of the HUB, the primary color has been changed to blue and players now have easier access to stats and lines rather than backing out to a menu.
EA Sports has added multiple new stat tracking aspects, players can now see the box scores of all 1300+ games that are played in a season. Additionally, in each players individual game log you can now see their game-by-game stats and recent trends.
A player's award history can now be seen in their player card.
No-trade, no-movement, and modified no-movement clauses have now been added to the game, with the ability to change the teams included on them.
When players are in free agency there is now a meter that signifies how interested a player is in signing with your franchise and interest in signing a proposed contract.
This brings in the new conversation system, you can now negotiate and make promises to players to try and convince them to sign with your team on a long-term or short-term basis.

These conversations also allow you to set season goals that will impact player development, and individual objectives can earn players X-Factors.
For those who enjoy roster sharing and custom leagues, you can now trade five years worth of picks in the player movement section.
More elite potential prospects have been added to help maintain the quality of players later in your franchise. CPU teams will also better target free agents based on team needs.
All these changes will give NHL 25 the most in-depth franchise experience in years, and if they want to, helps set the table for the return of GM Connected in a future title.
