AP changes, defensive balancing, X-Factor adjustments among changes
World of Chel Season 2 is live now in NHL 26.
As with Season 1, the Season Pass contains 45 levels of rewards and is available for free to all players.
Loadouts have been adjusted in an attempt to balance gameplay. Relatedly, the AP has been boosted on several high-impact X-Factors.
The changes are:
Elite Tier Changes
- Wheels: 75 AP to 85 AP
- Elite Edges: 75 AP to 85 AP
- Second Wind: 75 AP to 85 AP
- Truculence: 55 AP to 85 AP
All-Star Tier Changes
- Wheels: 35 AP to 55 AP
- Elite Edges: 35 AP to 55 AP
- Second Wind: 35 AP to 55 AP
- Truculence: 30 AP to 55 AP
This will require more trade-offs when building your player.
Multiple gameplay updates were also made in Season 2, including a boost to defensive balance. The skating penalty applied during poke checks has been reduced which should allow defenders to keep up.
X-Factor updates include: Sponge (Elite), Post to Post (Elite), Dialed In (All-Star)
A Thanksgiving Event is love now from Nov. 20-Nov. 29 with boosted player and season XP.
the two new themed characters are Ice Queen and Frost Guardian. Ice Queen is a Playmaker while Guardian is a Goaltender.
X-Factors from Season 1 can now be purchased in in the WoC Store.
