NHL 24 HUT Team of the Week cards have been released
EA SPORTS dropped new Team of the Week cards in NHL 24 Hockey Ultimate Team. The previous TOTW featured four 94 overall cards. Unfortunately, this week doesn't include anyone that high, and the best we got is a 92 Roman Josi.
Below we take a look at the new cards and what the players did to earn them.

Roman Josi - LD, TWD
Josi has recorded back-to-back multi-point games, and he is on a four-game point streak with seven points.
The differences this card has to his X-Factor one is that Josi's TOTW card has Two-Way Defenseman synergy instead of Shooting Boost. It also has better abilities to choose from, like Heatseeker, Elite Edges, and gold Shutdown.
Alex Ovechkin - LW, SNP
Is Ovechkin back to his normal self? As talked about in our previous article on how his overall in the game was lowered, he has scored in six straight games, and the finishing touch for "The Great 8" appears to have returned.
Ovechkin's X-Factor card is pretty much identical to his new TOTW card. There aren't many reasons for choosing this one over his X-Factor edition.
John Tavares - C, SNP
Maple Leafs captain has scored five points in three games since the all-star break. He missed Toronto's last game due to an illness, but the Leafs would benefit greatly from Tavares returning to form after his mid-season lull.
This is Tavares' highest-rated card in the game.
Oula Palve - C, PLY
Oula Palve leads the top Finnish league Liiga in scoring with, 55 points in 53 games. He has five points in his last three games, including a hat trick in his most recent match on Valentine's Day.
Palve has now earned his third TOTW card in NHL 24
Sergei Bobrovsky - G, HYB
Bobrovsky has been on fire for the Florida Panthers lately. He's won his last five games, and since coming back from the All-Star Game, he's allowed only four goals on 84 shots. He recorded a 34-save shutout on Feb. 10 against Colorado.
Bobrovksy received an 89 overall all-star card, but this new 90 overall TOTW now is his highest.
Jacob Markstrom - G, HYB
Markstrom has bounced back for Calgary after his disappointing season last year. He's faced 30 or more shots in three straight games and is 2-1 with a SV% of .943 in those games. His name is hot in trade rumours with the NHL Trade Deadline approaching.
Markstrom has received many upgrades this year in HUT due to his play in the crease with three Live Moments cards and two TOTW cards.
Michael Matheson - LD, TWD
Matheson has been a horse on the backend for Montreal all season long. He averages 25:22 minutes a night. The second most for defenseman on the Habs is Kaiden Guhle at 20:56. He has five points in four games since the all-star break. This is Matheson's third TOTW card.
