In one of the biggest collapses in NHL history, the Toronto Maple Leafs were up 4-1 through the third period of game 7 of the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs when the Bruins began mounting a comeback. Two late goals within 31 seconds by Milan Lucic and Patrice Bergeron tied the game at 4-4. Then, at 6:05 into overtime, Patrice Bergeron again came through for Boston by burying a rebound goal against James Reimer, completing the team's miraculous 5-4 comeback win against the Maple Leafs.

1992-1993 was a special year for the rookie Teemu Selanne and the Winnipeg Jets. "The Finnish Flash" broke the all-time rookie goal-scoring record of 53 previously set by Mike Bossy of the New York Islanders 15 years prior. Teemu Selanne finished the year with 76 goals. He went on to win the Calder Trophy and, during his career, amassed 663 goals.

The Flyers-Bruins playoff series in the 2010 Eastern Conference Semifinals is one of the most shocking events in NHL history. Down 3-0 in the series, the Flyers became the third team in NHL history and the first in over 30 years to come back and win the series. The Flyers were also down 3-0 in game 7. However, they managed to tie the game by the midway point of the second period thanks to goals by James Van Riemsdyk, Scott Hartnell, and Daniel Briere. Finally, on the powerplay with 7 minutes to go in the game, Simon Gagne scores the game-winning goal, capping off an unexpected and shocking win over the Boston Bruins.
HUT Moments will include many more significant events from hockey's history. Excitingly, it will also be updated and stay consistent with current happenings around the league. For example, any big moment that occurs during the NHL 2023-2024 season may be added to NHL 24's HUT Moments. Which big moments from the new season will make HUT Moments? Time will tell.
