Open play for $1500 prize pool begins June 12th
CBJ Gaming in collaboration with League Gaming have announced a 1v1 NHL 24 tournament in Hockey Ultimate Team.
The tournament will take place in Hockey Ultimate Team, players are only permitted to use Base Cards, allowing for even and consistent gameplay.
Standings will be based on an ELO system and players can play as much or as little as they prefer.
There will be a $1,500 USD prize pool, with $1,000 for the winner.
This will be the first 1v1 tournament with automated stat collection directly from the HUT matches. The tournament will be run through the ESHL Discord.
After the open play the top 32 players will play a best-of-three elimination bracket.
The open play schedule in Eastern Standard Time:
- June 12th 7pm - 11:59pm
- June 13th 7pm - 11:59pm
- June 19th 7pm - 11:59pm
- June 20th 7pm - 11:59pm
