Point and Alfredsson highlight additions
Over the past few days three different batches of Custom Elite Build cards have been released in NHL 24 Hockey Ultimate Team.
Many of these players are good enough to be rostered on elite teams while remaining affordable enough for less serious players.
Custom Build Elites often have a boosted stat category or theme with their abilities that allow them to be dominant in one specific skill.

- All six of these cards come in at 92 overall and are worth an add
- Point is a deadly sniper with great speed and shooting stats
- Kreider is a dominant power forward, he comes with both Total Eclipse and Unstoppable Force, he would wreck havoc in front of the net
- Carlson gets his first card above an 89 this season, he can provide lots of offense from the back-end
- Reinhart is a solid offensive forward that would be a good playmaking winger
- Matheson is a solid two-way defender, you can emphasize his offense or defense depending on which abilities you choose to activate
- Hellebuyck has been a fan-favorite all season and this card has all the makings of an elite goalie
Aside from these six new releases, 12 additional players were added on Tuesday, lead by Daniel Alfredsson and Sergei Zubov.

- Alfredsson is a great offensive forward with elite passing
- Zubov is an elite offensive defenseman with a booming shot
- Staal perfectly fits the competitive meta, he has great speed, size and shot. With Unstoppable Force activated he will be a monster on the boards
- Bratt is quick with great hands and a sneaky shot, ideal for anyone looking for speed
- Boeser has an elite shot and could help your team with goal scoring
