Players receive overall and attribute upgrades

After the completion of the Skills Competition and the 2024 All-Star Game all of the card upgrades that were contingent on the event have been applied to Hockey Ultimate Team.

Two weeks before the All-Star Game each player had an 87 overall card released in HUT, each skater had the chance to have their overall improved for every goal they scored and each goalie received two overall increases per team win.

While some cards did not receive the upgrades many were hoping for or did not provide value on the price paid prior to the event, there are several cards that are worthy of rostering.

Given the name value of these All-Star players many of these cards become more accessible cards for those who are more casual HUT players.

Additionally, Connor McDavid, Elias Pettersson, Cale Makar and Nathan MacKinnon received new abilities for winning a Skills Competition event.
