

Six players will compete for the NHL 24 World Championship and $30,000 on Sunday April 7th in New York, NY.

Once the tournament begins European Champion Eki and North American Champion Gren automatically advance to the semi-finals, they will play a one game series to determine who is top seed.
The remaining four payers play a best-of-one round robin, with the top two finishers advancing to the semis. The semi-finals and finals will be a best-of-three.
Eki and Gren should be considered favorites for the event based on the automatic advancement to the semis. Both players looked dominate when they captured the European and North American Championships. Eki was the runner-up in the NHL 23 World Championship.
Regs is considered one of the best NHL Esports players of all-time and is likely a favorite to be one of the players who comes out of the round robin. Deeks, Polgz and Temppanen all have LAN experience this season and all are looking to capture their first World Championship.
Past World Championship winners include Eki (2018), Top Shelf Cookie (2019) and Jos x 10 (2023).
The World Championships were canceled due to COVID in 2020, 2021 and 2022, leaving the European and North American Championship winners those years as co-holders of bragging rights.
