New Team of The Week cards have been released in NHL 24 Hockey Ultimate Team, included in the release is a 93 Alex Ovechkin card, his highest of the season.
In total 20 new players were released for the week of March 27th - April 3rd, including 13 NHL players and seven from outside the NHL.

Almost all of these 12 players are elite and can be played in elite rosters.
- Ovechkin receives his highest rated card of the year, he has an incredible shot and great physical stats to go with 99 offensive awareness. He comes with Make It Snappy, One Tee and Unstoppable Force to accentuate his best skills.
- Tavares and Guentzel are both great snipers, Guentzel has better speed while Tavares has more strength and balance.
- Fox and Montour are elite offensive defensemen. They both come with 99 offensive awareness, defensive awareness and stick checking. Fox is a better skater while Montour has a better shot and balance.
- Hughes is an elite skater and slightly worse version of Fox, he come with Elite Edges.
- Ekholm is a fantastic two way defender, he has 99 balance, defensive awareness, stick checking, shot blocking and discipline. His Shutdown Zone Ability and good size make him a worthwhile card to pursue if you need defensive help.
- Oettinger is a popular goalie and this is his best card, he has good size and he comes with Show Stopper.

None of these Non-NHL players are likely to make your team unless you are building a theme team.
- Goyette is fast and comes with 99 agility and shot power.
- Werenski could be a cheap third-pair defensemen as he is solid everywhere.
- Koivunen, Fournier and Firkus all have good agility and great shots.
- Thomas and DiDomenico have solid offensive stats and strength.
