New HUTVERSE cards flip player positions
Elias Pettersson and Sebastian Aho have received new HUTVERSE cards in NHL 24 Hockey Ultimate Team where they switch positions with Elias Pettersson and Sebastian Aho.
HUTVERSE cards switch player positions, allowing you to roster forwards as defensemen and vice versa. This release is a way to have fun with players that have the same name.
These new cards have Vancouver Canucks star center Pettersson playing defense and Canucks' prospect defenseman Pettersson has a new card where he plays forward.

There was some controversy regarding the cards as they were available in collections with no announcement as early as 12:30am EST, it also had the 2004-born Pettersson listed on the wrong club team.

New York Islanders defenseman Sebastian Aho and Carolina Hurricanes centerman Sebastian Aho also switch positions, with the Hurricanes captain becoming a two-way defenseman in this new card.
Aho and Pettersson instantly become elite defensemen and are some of the highest rated defenders in the game. These HUTVERSE cards have great stats and the opportunity to have two great skaters with skill on the blue line will make the cards very popular.
Defenseman Pettersson comes with 99 shot power and accuracy, and 99 in many of the hands stats. Aho has 99 wrist shot accuracy, deking, passing and stick checking. Pettersson comes with Heatseeker and Aho comes with Shutdown.
Younger Aho and Pettersson are both now well-rounded centers. Aho has a good shot, good defensive stats and Make It Snappy. Pettersson has a good shot and checking stats, he comes with 99 durability and Unstoppable Force. Both have good faceoff stats.
All four of these cards are worth pursuing, hopefully more HUTVERSE cards are released as it is a fun way to keep roster construction interesting.
