Three new 99 overall Prototype cards are available in NHL 24 Hockey Ultimate Team. Mitchell Marner, Brady Tkachuk, and Nico Hischier all receive new cards.

In order to receive one these players you must trade in two 97 overall preseason players. It costs five 90+ overall preseason players and one 85+ gold player for one 97. It costs eight gold players for a prototype collectible. 

There are an abundance of preseason and prototype sets, and players should be able to complete enough to purchase one of the new 99s at this point in the year.

These players had previous Prototype sets and were the three most popular sets. This is the first 99 overall card for each one of these players.
