Six new Fantasy Hockey cards were released in NHL 24 Hockey Ultimate Team on Tuesday. These cards will increase by one overall for every goal they score in the regular season.

There is a Fantasy Hockey set that requires 32 collectibles to acquire a specific 94 overall player or 28 for a random player. You can also trade in three Fantasy Hockey cards for a random 94 card.

Completing the five new Fantasy Hockey objectives would net you 16 collectibles. To finish the event you must complete the objectives with '94 Anniversary Player Items.

These cards all have improved endurance compared to previously released Fantasy cards, something very important at this point in the year.

  • Vatrano has been an underrated sniper all year. His skating is not the best at this point in the game's cycle but he is fantastic offensively, activating Shrug It Off or Unstoppable Force would help his puck control.
  • Nichushkin is a great power forward, his size, strength and Unstoppable Force make him a puck possession monster. Activating Elite Edges would add agility to his game.
  • Hagel has a great shot, nearly 99 in every hands stat, and great defensive ability. Activating Elite Edges would make him an all-around dynamic player.
  • Tippett comes with great balance and strength, as well as 99 shot power. His skating stats do not yet match up to his real life speed, but this card will be an elite sniper card, especially when he receives an upgrade.
  • Buchnevich is another puck possession monster who comes with 99 wrist shot accuracy and good speed. With good hands and defensive stats, activating Big Rig would make him even better around the net.
  • Jenner is the worst offensive player of the new releases but he has 97 checking, 96 defensive awareness and 92 faceoffs. A rare player that comes with Total Eclipse, Jenner would make a good bottom-six center.
