Three players receive new cards for hitting 1,000 game mark

Jordan Eberle, Alex Pietrangelo and James Van Riemsdyk were all honored by their respective teams this past week for reaching 1,000 games played in the NHL, each player subsequently received a Milestone card in HUT.

Pietrangelo is a two-time Cup champ and three-time All-Star. He has won a Gold Medal with Canada at the World Juniors, World Cup and Olympics.

Eberle is a World Junior Gold Medalist and won Tournament MVP in 2010. He won gold with Canada at the 2015 World Championships. He had a career high 76 points in 2011-12.

The 34-year-old van Riemsdyk was the second overall draft pick in 2007 and scored a career high 62 points with Toronto in 2016-17.

Eberle is a very good sniper who will help your team score. With 97 shot accuracy and 99 hands Eberle is well-rounded offensively. With the Sniper Forward Synergy and Puck On A String his stats can be boosted. With 96 puck control and 91 strength Eberle will not be pushed around.

Pietrangelo is not the best skater but has a hard shot and is an absolute lock down defender. With 95 defensive awareness and 96 stick checking Pietrangelo is a great option to have defending your own net, especially if you activate his Shutdown Zone Ability.

JVR is not likely to make many teams but his size and Big Rig Zone Ability allow him advanced strength and agility when taking the puck to the net.
