Mats Sundin and Saku Koivu among new 98 overall cards
New Original Six cards have been added to NHL 24 Hockey Ultimate Team, containing six Toronto Maple Leafs and six Montreal Canadiens.
All 12 new cards are rated 98 overall. The players cover all eras of each teams existence, containing Hall of Fame players from the 60s and 70s up to modern fan favorites.
This is not technically a theme team set, but after last week's New York Rangers themed release, this is a similar idea with two of the NHL's most popular teams.

These additions are great for fans of these two teams or players looking to fill out a theme team.
Some Montreal highlights of this release are Samuel Montembeault receiving a card that is 10 overall points higher than his previous best card, as well as defensive stalwarts Bob Gainey, Guy Carbonneau and Tomas Plekanec all receiving elite cards. Beloved captain Saku Koivu receives his best card of the season.
Maple Leafs fans get new cards for legendary captains Dave Keon and Mats Sundin, as well as for HUT mainstay Tim Horton. Father-son duo Tie and Max Domi each receive new cards.
