Alexander Radulov, 37, is on the move from Ak Bars Kazan to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, signing a one-year contract with the latter KHL club.
The 2024-25 season will be Radulov’s 11th in the KHL . He’s spent the last two seasons in Kazan and previously played for Salavat Yulayev Ufa (2008-2012) and CSKA Moscow (2012-2016). He is a four-time KHL MVP, three-time leading scorer and won the Gagarin Cup with Ufa in 2011.
Radulov played junior hockey with the QMJHL’s Quebec Remparts, winning the Memorial Cup and CHL Player of the Year in 2005-06. He played five NHL seasons in three separate tours of duty, recording 368 points in 524 games for the Nashville Predators, Montreal Canadiens and Dallas Stars. He recorded 72 points in back-to-back seasons with the Stars and was with the team when it went to the 2020 Stanley Cup final in the Edmonton bubble.
Internationally, he won IIHF World Championship gold medals representing Russia in 2008 and 2009.
